Character > Caste. This is something we take for granted only because we have reached a point where we have learned to ignore the corners of reality that might not be so bright. The issue of caste discrimination still exists; the oppressed still feel that pain; the wounded still shed those tears. Various caste systems have existed all over the world through out the scope of human history; no corner of this planet has avoided this blight.
